Our Pitch

 For our final project, we had to come up with our own pitch for the film. Originally, we were going to do a coming of age movie where a normal teen goes to school with people who have disorders. They would arrive on their first day and notice that everyone is separated into groups depending on their disorders. The disorders would vary between eating disorders, bipolar, depression, anxiety, etc. No one would have more than one disorder. The normal teen would get bullied and would start off her day alone. As we began planning where would set our location and who would be in it we began to rethink the pitch. We realized the pitch wouldn't be the smartest idea because it may be insulting to people with disorders and it wouldn't be very interesting. We then decided to form a new pitch. Our new pitch ended up being about two best friends where one of them was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age and had it removed before it spread. The cancer comes back leaving both of them realizing they have to say goodbye soon. Then would then decide to make a bucket list and have fun before the time comes. We believed this pitch would not only be exciting to make, but it will allow us to learn more about cancer. Coming up with our pitch wasn't a challenge. It was actually pretty fun combining ideas.
