Final Task CCR

Image
Uploaded above, t his is my CCR for my final task. It is a twelve-minute long video. It goes over & answers the CCR questions. I describe and elaborate on things like drama conventions and real media texts. I also go over how I integrated technology for my opening sequence and how my production skills have improved. Along with that, I also just go over things I did during this task. I also described how I worked with my teammates and how we made the title sequence out to be the best it could be. I also go back and reference previous projects and talk about how it has affected me. I will talk about how the stuff I learned in those projects helped me this time. Seeing as though this was our last project, it was certainly a lot to deal with . With the CCR, I had to make some edits to it before I put it onto my blog, which was a hassle to say the least. I had to make sure that I talked long enough during each question, and answered the question clearly and efficiently. This is because

Final Task

We have come to the end of this filming and editing project. Its been a rough, long, but fun ride. We faced complications with putting together our storyboard. Our original isn't the same as our final one. We've made many changes due to location and actors needed to be involved. It was hard to find a day to film and when we finally found the day, many things didn't go as planned. We managed to make it through to get through the editing process, in which we had troubles with too. Luckily, we managed to resolve most of our problems to come out with our final product. The point of our idea is to let our audience know things don't have to come to an end so soon. You have to make the most of the time you have left. In our film, the girls decide to make the most of their time left together by completing a bucket list. We aren't just sending a message for people with cancer such as leukemia. This message goes to anyone who is or knows someone who's time will be up soon

We are now coming to the closing of editing our project. For starters, we found a way to edit in a cross fade at the beginning of the opening as well as slide thirteen through fourteen. Ciaya researched tips on how to make one. I was searching for an app that could create the cross fade for us but they all cost money. Luckily we all put our minds together so Rohanna could edit it on iMovie. After fixing that, we had to work out cutting down the time to the required length which was two minutes. During filming, our scenes came out to be long and everything we recorded was needed. We had to figure out what parts of the clips were more necessary than others. We agreed to remove some clips and trim down the ones we kept. After cutting down the video to two minutes, we decided on filters. We wanted to put filters over the video to add better lighting. We went with a bright filter rather than a black and white filter due to our film being a romance drama. Although editing was a bit difficu

When it came to editing for this project, I took the responsibility for the task. Due to Ciaya and Nishayla acting while Idline recorded, I was left with no task. Luckily, I know a thing or two when it comes to editing, so I got the task to edit the project. I am a really good editor and the group believed editing the project would be the best fit for me. During filming, they recorded different takes and shots. It made my job easier because I now have different options to choose from to make the scenes come together. Although I had different options, a challenge I had to face was making sure I didn’t exceed the time limit which was 60 seconds. After I put everything together, the music video came out to be over the max time limit! I then had to trim every scene and make big cuts to meet the correct criteria. Other than this, editing went smoothly for me. I applied a filter to one of the scenes to set the mood for that one take. They believed that they chose the right person in the grou

I wanted to look at the positive things to take out from filming this project. Although there were some downsides and challenges when it came to filming, there are still some positive aspects to look at from filming. First off, all group members managed to show up. In the previous blog, I said we had to switch our location At first, we found that it may be an issue that could mess everything up, however it didn't take long to replace the scenes. For example, we used a bathroom as an alternate for the pond. That worked out perfectly. Also, we used a camera instead of a phone camera to record the shots. It allowed the whole film to look more like a opening sequence and made the zoomed in parts much better due to the lens. When we all first arrived it looked like it was going to rain and there was a slight drizzle. I would say the fact that it ended up now raining hard is a pro in this project. It would've been difficult to find another day where we could all come and film. I am

Yesterday we finally began filming. We all managed to meet up at the park to start filming the scenes. Both Ciaya and Idline brought their cameras which was very helpful with filming. At first, we were told we couldn't get into the park because they have an event going on. We found that switching locations last minute may be an issue that could mess everything up and we didn't want to have to do that. Luckily, we manage to convince the worker and he allowed us to film for 2 hours. This park happened to not have some details seen in our storyboard. For example, the park didn't have a pond but I came up with an alternate previously just in case this were to happen. We found a bathroom and used it to film. We didn't have to change any dialogue, everything fit perfectly. Also, we used a camera instead of a phone camera to record the shots. It allowed the whole film to look more like a film and made the zoomed in parts much better due to the lens. When we all first arrived i

We are continuing with our final task. However, we have not started filming. We chose our set day to film as being Sundays. All of us have things to do on Sundays. So we set time aside afterwards to work on our task. After our jobs and curriculars of course. Ciaya, however, cannot attend because of transportation issues. We might have to get someone else to play the role of Kim. Well, that is, if she can film on another day. We were thinking we can switch her role to being Jules or Faith. But, that will interfere with plans for the other actors. Either way we will find out how it will all go down. Nishayla can maybe take over a role, but that is not set in stone yet. If anything happens, she can step in last minute. Hopefully we will have more time to decide on that. Our plans are mostly set. We can't wait to finally begin, seeing as though we have busy lives. We will, of course, be filiming in the afternoon so we can get the best lighting possible. All at the same park we chose. I
