Filming Blog Part 2 For Music Video
In our MV, there were many things that worked out in our favor. Firstly, was the drowning scene. Although we did not have a bridge we used the opening down into the water to our advantage. Secondly, the bathroom scene. We hoped that the park's bathrooms were open, and luckily they were. We figured they would be closed because of the pandemic. There were sport groups near to the unlocked bathrooms, so we filmed our next scene there. Also, there was a walkway that Actor 1 walked down and there was a bench for 2 of the scenes. The extra bullies walked down this path, to emphasize the harsh effect of the bullying from afar. We also implemented the use of pan, tilt and zoom ins in us filming the scenes. Our most dramatic scene was the last one, the hugging scene. We purposely did the effect of the hugging in a way that it is emotional to the audience. Which all further developed into our storyboard. It also clearly displays all throughout the filming process that it went from something negative. Then it went to something positive, shedding light on the subject. These aspects of our setting helped shape our MV into our final product. We hope to learn from this, so in the future this will be a much easier filming process.
