Editing Blog For Music Video

After we filmed all of the scenes, I retrieved the clips from the video camera. I then put the SD card into my laptop and uploaded them to IMovie. After that, I reorganized the clips into the correct orders. This is because some clips were filmed before others. Then I had to retrieve the song we picked from YouTube, and then I converted it into a MP3 file. I then lined up the song to what fits best into the clips. I got to shaving the clips down, and making the necessary cuts for the other scenes. Originally, the MV turned out to be 2 minutes and 11 seconds long, so I had to improvise. I cut out all of the unnecessary parts of the clips in the MV. I ended up getting it down to 1 minute, which was the limit that we had for this project. Then for one of the scenes I put the black and white filter on it. This was to bring out the clip more to the viewers. Additionally, at the very end, I added a black screen. This was to emphasize the overall message we were trying to make for the MV. This process overall took me about 30 minutes to do. Seeing as though this was my first time editing a movie, it went pretty smoothly.
