    Hello everyone, my name is Rohanna Wollaston and I am a Junior at Fort Lauderdale High School. I was born on the 10th of February, in the year 2004. I was born and raised here in the sunshine state of Florida. My ethnicity is that I am Jamaican and I have 1 sibling, a little sister. What I like doing in my everyday life (hobbies) is to play basketball, go shopping, watch horror/serial killer movies, drawing and listening & playing music. My favorite flavors of ice cream vary from plain vanilla, strawberry or cookies and cream. Last but not least, the things i've been doing lately in COVID-19 quarantine since March have been cooking, listening to music, studying/reading, watching Youtube and Netflix shows/movies, relaxing with my family and most importantly SOCIAL DISTANCING!!

My career goal is to become a forensic investigator (CSI) when I get older. I want to become this because I have mainly gotten influence from the an old TV show called Forensic Files. I have been into the way how they go about investigating crime scenes and collect important information to later be analyzed so murder/homicide cases can be solved. On that note, Im really interested in solving true, or even fictional crimes from documentaries or other movies/shows. When I graduate from HS I aspire to study my goals at a college/university, in the state of Florida. As I am aiming to graduate with my Cambridge diploma, I work on accomplishing the necessary short and long-term goals in my life.

I am taking this AICE Media Studies class because I want to explore how using media techniques are an important part of our lives. For example, in all of the horror films I watch on Netflix, they use SFX and other fascinating camera transitions and movements, and even the suspenseful music. Currently, I am watching The Walking Dead on Netflix, and the graphical representations between the scenes are quite interesting, as it is well developed. These make the shows catch the audience's attention, to make them want to watch more and binge through the episodes. I hope when taking this course, I will have more of an insight of how filmmakers create these top notch films and get a closer look into the processes of production of how shots are taken. Also, this class plays a big role into receiving my Cambridge diploma, getting my credit.

Most people enjoy a good movie while others enjoy a good book. Some people enjoy fun animated movies while others enjoy ones that address issues and problems that go on in this world. These issues range from racism to climate change and pollution. The typical category that films like those fall under is drama. Ask yourself, what is the purpose of a Drama film? Maybe its just to entertain others or maybe its to bring awareness to other political and social problems. Most of the time the issues brought up are the ones people don't know about or disregard. After doing some research my teammates and I were able to find that the main purpose of most drama films is to express the need for social change, communicating a universal theme, recreating and interpreting information, ideas, and emotions. Final Task CCR

Uploaded above, t his is my CCR for my final task. It is a twelve-minute long video. It goes over & answers the CCR questions. I describe and elaborate on things like drama conventions and real media texts. I also go over how I integrated technology for my opening sequence and how my production skills have improved. Along with that, I also just go over things I did during this task. I also described how I worked with my teammates and how we made the title sequence out to be the best it could be. I also go back and reference previous projects and talk about how it has affected me. I will talk about how the stuff I learned in those projects helped me this time. Scene 1: Actor 1 walks up to the court wearing tattered clothes and begins to put on ragged sneakers. Scene 2: The players appear on the court and notices Actor 1 and begins to live and take pictures. While this is happening on of the players throws the ball at Actor 1. Scene 3: Actor 1 checks her phone to open Instagram and sees the post of her tattered sneakers with a lot of likes and negative comments. She grabs her gym bag and runs off court to the bathroom.
